National President - Richard Evans
Originally from rural South Canterbury, Richard is currently in his fourth year of study towards a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts (History and German) conjoint degree at the University of Canterbury. Richard's involvement in UNYANZ began while at high school and has since seen him attend Australia's UNYC conference, serve on Canterbury's Regional Council, and for two terms on the National Executive as Vice President for Communications and Education. Now as National President Richard is responsible for chairing and guiding the work of the National Executive and the National Council.

Vice President for Education - Elizabeth Chan
Elizabeth Chan is a fourth year BA/LLB (Hons) student at the University of Auckland majoring in Political Studies, French and Law. She first got addicted to Model UN in 2006 at Auckland Regional MUN and has since participated in Model UN conferences in New Zealand, Australia, The Netherlands and Mexico. As an active member of UNYANZ, she is currently serving her second term on the National Executive. Her goal for the National Executive 2010-2011 term is to reflect critically on the educational value of the NZ Model UN Programme. Outside of academia, she enjoys travelling, reading, ballet and acting.

Vice President for Governance - Ben Land-Maycock
Ben Land-Maycock is currently completing his third year of an LLB/BA, majoring in Political Science and International Relations. He has been involved in UNYANZ since 2005 in a hugely varied capacity - attending THIMUN, coordinating UNYC and serving on a number of Regional Councils. This is his first term as a National Executive member. Outside of UNYANZ he enjoys good food, good chat and good laughs with friends.

Vice President for Communications - Alexandra Sinclair
Alexandra Sinclair is a third year law and arts students at Victoria University of Wellington. She is incredibly excited to be the new National Vice President for Communications for UNYANZ. She has recently completed an internship at the New Zealand National Commission of UNESCO and this year was the coordinator of the inaugural Central North Island Model United Nations. Alex was the Assistant Director of this year's UNYC delegation and came back from Australia even more excited about the wonderful work UNYANZ does with youth from across New Zealand. As well as her involvement in UNYANZ she is heavily involved in the Victoria University Debating society, coaches a junior netball team, and tutors first year law. If you wish to discuss anything with Alex, she would love to hear from you. In particular she would love to hear about how you think UNYANZ can better promote itself and communicate with the public.

National Treasurer - Chris Park
Chris Park is a fourth year student studying Law and Commerce at Victoria University. He first became involved with UNYANZ when he was dragged along to attend a Canterbury Model UN, and has been involved in various capacities ever since. He has attended various events, including Canterbury Model UNs, New Zealand Model UNs, THIMUN and NZ Model Security Councils. From an organisational perspective, he has coordinated regional events, been the Canterbury treasurer, the registrations officer for the inaugural NZ Model Security Council in 2008 and was the logistics officer for the NZ Model UN 2009. Asides from university and UNYANZ, Chris is a keen cellist and pianist.
